Instalation method

The steps to be followed when installing a mosquito screen in the window:

1. Open the window from the inside of the room.

2. Take the screen and turn the pivoting grips situated on its top frame from horizontal to vertical position (90o angle). Notice: PVC handle is situated on the bottom frame of the screen.

3. Take hold of the screen with both hands. The screen should be held at about 1/3 of its height from the bottom, with PVC handle on the bottom frame of the screen.

4. Put the screen at the outside surface of the open window.

5. Put the pivoting grips (previously turned over) on the top window frame rabbet with T- spline.

6. Hold the screen with one hand and grip PVC handle (installation handle at the bottom frame) with the other.

7. Let go of the hand holding the screen while holding the PVC handle with the other and press the screen so that it fits tightly to the window frame.

8. Using your free hand, turn the clips back by 90o so that they cling to the rabbet and T- spline all over the window frame.

9. Make all the necessary adjustments, so that there are no visible clearances between the screen and the window frame.

Screen maintenance

In case your screen gets dirty, it should be removed and cleaned with a sponge and lukewarm water with soap. Next, rinse the screen with clean water. Don’t use detergents for cleaning. The screen can be used all the year long, irrespective of the season. However, its life can be considerably prolonged, when the screen is removed for wintertime.
